Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a Indian performer, singer-songwriter, and performer. Her main focus is Tamil as well as Malayalam movies. Annayum Rasoolum was her Malayalam as well as Tamil debuts in acting. Andrea Jeremiah was born into an Anglo-Indian Family in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Andrea Jeremiah's father works as a lawyer in the Madras High Court. There is a younger sister who is a resident of Leuven Belgium as a research assistant. Jeremiah is a native of Chennai. in Chennai was a student at Chennai National Public School. He completed his studies at Women's Christian College. Andrea was an eight year old classical pianist, who was extremely geeky. Young Stars, a Jackson Five-style band which she joined at age 10, was her foundation for her singing as well as composing music. She performed as a stage artist at her school and took part in a variety of plays staged through The Madras Players, EVAM and other theatre groups. She was also one of the Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea began her acting career as a child performer in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. In 2006, her role in the Leo Coffee commercial was in the role of Shiva. She was also on the Podhigai Channel in a television series. The actress has performed across India. She performed a very brief performance in Kanda Mudhal, the 2005 finale. She sang in a song to Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. He asked her to be one of his lead female characters for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea performed the role of Kalyani the homemaker who's husband is in the middle of an affair with someone else. Andrea was approached following Simran shobana and Tabu. The film was released in early 2010. In 2011, she accepted to have a supporting role as Venkat Prabhu, who starred in Mankatha. The film came out on the 11th of August in 2011. In 2013 she began her career in Malayalam film with Rajeev Ravi's romance movie, Annayum Rasoolum.
