Born on October 18, 1984 American alpine skier Lindsey Vonn who is now retired won the title of four World Cup competitions and the downhill gold medal in the 2010 Winter Olympics. She ranks second amongst all skiers, male and female on the basis of top scores. She is the best skier ever and the is the most well-known throughout the United States. Caroline Vonn is a World Cup alpine ski racer in the US. She also goes by Lindsey Vonn. She has won 4 World Cups. She's a famous athlete within American History. She is one of just six women to won all five Alpine Skiing World Cup events. All told, she has achieved an impressive 82 World Cup championships. A world-class skier and one of the most experienced ski racers, she has made the decision to quit after the World Championships, which take place in Sweden. After suffering from a series of illnesses and injuries, the multiple World Cup champion has decided to retire. The four-time World Cup overall champion has announced her retirement on social networking. In the coming week, I'll take part in the final race for my career at the Downhill World Championships as well as in the SG World Championships held in Re Sweden.
