Simone Biles
Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was thought to be one of the sport's greatest athletes. The 2016 Olympics took place at Rio de Janeiro and Biles was one of the U.S.'s only female gymnast ever to earn 4 gold medals. Biles also took home the world championship for all-around 3 times in succession (2013-15). Biles and her younger sister Adria was adopted by Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles their grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston region) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone's love for gymnastics first began at the age of six after a visit with her group of daycare children to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained in the hands of Aimee Borman as coach until the year 2011. Biles won a gold in floor exercise and a bronze in vault during the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010 before breaking into the top level of gymnastics in the year 2011. She dominated her sport less than two year later. Biles stood out for her constant performance her exuberant attitude and the level of effort she introduced throughout each competition--vault bars that were uneven, balance beam and ground exercise.
